Sellbot Cog SuitThe Sellbot Cog Suit is the cog suit that you need to access the Sellbot Towers and fight the Senior Vice President (VP). To get your cog suit you need to go into ten Sellbot Factories and defeat the Factory Foreman (located in the Center Silo Control Room) ten times. Each time you defeat a Foreman, you will receive a sellbot cog suit piece, which you need ten of.

You also need merits to fight the VP. There are four main routes of taking on the Factory to get merits. The first way is the Short. This involves just fighting the cogs you need to and then taking on the Foreman. The next type is Short Invasion. This involves only going through the cogs you need and then waiting or summoning an invasion when you are about to defeat the Foreman for double merits. Also there is Long. This involves going through EVERY cog in the entire factory and then defeating the Foreman without waiting for an invasion. The last known type is Long Invasion. This involves defeating every cog and waiting for or summoning an invasion at the Center Silo.

There are different amount of merits you need to get "Ready for Promotion" on your cog suit. Those amounts are shown in the pictures below. Once you have all your merits and cog suit pieces needed you can go into the vp. You can make a group or just go into the elevator to go into the vp. After you have defeated vp you gain a cog suit level and get an sos toon that you can use anywhere if your in trouble.
After going through the tunnel, you will see many different things. The first is a pit and the door to the Vice President’s Office. You can’t enter this office until you have all the Sellbot suit pieces, by defeating the Factory Foreman 10 times
If you look to your left, there won’t be any place to enter but there may be some cogs. In this courtyard, there are going to be a variety of cogs including levels 4, 5, and 6. This means that you can encounter the following types of cogs: Cold Callers, Telemarketers, Name Droppers, Glad Handers, Mover and Shakers, and Two Faces.

When you look to the right, again there will possibly be some cogs and the entrance to the Sellbot HQ Factory.
Once going through the tunnel into the Factory, you will again see a variety of cogs
Once you run through the tunnel under the huge Sellbot face, you can enter the factory one of two ways. The first is through the front entrance and the second is through the side entrance. Click here for a map of the factory.

The route that will bring you the most merits in the factory starts with the front entrance. Just a small word of warning, this is the first place that you will encounter some possible “shuffling.” Shuffling is when toons will jump off the elevators when there is a toon that they do not want to go into a particular area of the game with. So try and go into this with a group of friends for your first few rounds until you get enough laff points that random toons will want you to join them in the factory.

Once you enter the factory, you will first see the blue “loading” screen. Once you go in the main entrance, you will have to push a button to open the doors and enter the factory.
The theme of the factory seems to be pushing buttons to open MOST major doorways.

Once you enter the lobby, you have to run around the box in the room and either push the button before or after fighting the cogs, but watch out for the goon that is near the door because if its light hits you, you lose laff points. You may put it out of commission temporarily by stomping on its head.

Your first set of cogs will be in the Lobby Room, where you will encounter two level 3s and one level 5. After defeating these cogs, you will run through the door into a hallway, where you can restock your throw gags, which I will explain later.

Upon leaving this hallway, you will enter another hallway that lets you choose three doors. The one straight ahead of you will lead you to an observation deck over the warehouse of the factory, which has nothing. Once you reach this point you have a bunch of decisions to make. The first is to figure out if you want to do a long or short run of the factory and which direction you want to run in the factory. The quickest way to do a long run is to take a right at the end of the Lobby hallway into the Gear Room, where you will face three Skelecogs (your first introduction to Skelecogs).

Once you defeat the two level 5 Skelecogs and the one level 6, you can run through the Gear Room and then run towards the Warehouse via the East Catwalk.

On your way there, you may stop by the Paint Room to the right and restock throw, squirt and toon-up gags, as well as pick up a few jellybeans. For a long run, however, take a 180 degree turn in the Lobby hallway and run back out the door towards the Boiler Room.

Once you get to the top of the Boiler Room, you will have to fight three cogs including a level 3, 5, and 6 of any variety.
Upon exiting the Boiler Room, you will have a choice to go down another catwalk or enter the Pipe Room. There are two sets of three Skelecogs in this room, each with two level 4s and a 5. The quickest way through this room is to engage the cogs on the right, then run around the wall and engage the cogs on the left.

When you beat this second set of skelcogs, you want to take another 180 degree turn and head through the door that leads you to Stomper Alley. Again, you have a choice about which direction you want to go. If you go straight ahead through the next set of doors, you run into the area for the Side Entrance (Duct Room). Again, you will have any variety of Sellbots leveled 4 and 5.

Once you beat this set of cogs, you take your final 180 degree turn. If you were entering through the Side Entrance, you would need to push the button. If you entered through the front, this button does not matter. Also, the doors straight ahead of you will not matter, unless you were entering through the Side Entrance.

After exiting the Duct Room, you need to take a left and run through Stomper Alley. Be careful as you run through this area of the Factory because if you get hit by one of the stompers, you will lose three laff points.

At the end of Stomper Alley is another door that gives you two directions to choose from. If you take a left hand turn, you will run into the Lava Room where you have to run down a moving ramp to get into the Lava Storage Room where you can restock sound and squirt gags, laff points and jellybeans. While running down this moving belt, you will have to avoid gears that are set up to knock you into the lava. If you fall into the lava, you will loose 2 laff points and if you stay in the lava too long, you will keep losing two laff points until you get out. If you take a right, you will run up a set of steps and run into a blocked door. You need to turn right and enter the Oil Room, where you have to beat three more cogs, one Level 4 and two Level 5s.

Once again, you have to push a button so that you can go through the door you saw before entering the Oil Room. After going through that door, you will enter the West Catwalk, where there are three goons. You need to avoid the goons’ lights or you will lose up to 7 laff points. You can once again temporarily disable them by jumping on top of their heads. This catwalk leads you to the Warehouse, where you have to avoid A LOT of goons that can subtract 10 laff points.

After trying to avoid the goons in the Warehouse, you need to run up a set of stairs in the middle of the warehouse to fight 4 cogs, including two 4s, a 5, and a 6. After the fight is set up and won, there is once again a button that needs to be pushed to release the doors to the Silos. The other four buttons are connected to stompers that you use to destroy the goons that inhabit the floor. Once all the goons are destroyed, you go through the door in the middle screenshot above, and you have yet another decision to make. This decision is not as important as the rest because either direction will take the same amount of time. You can choose to either go to the East or West Silos. When on top of these Silos, you are almost done with the Factory. On each Silo there will be two Level 6 cogs and a Level 7. After beating each set of cogs on the Silos, you need to run through the doors to push a button. This releases a lock on the door that leads to the Center Silo Control Room.

Finally, you can meet the Factory Foreman. This is who you need to beat in order to successfully beat the Sellbot Factory. Before you actually enter the Center Silo, some toon may say they need more merits or wait. This means that they would like you to wait for an invasion because if you begin the victory dance while an invasion is on, you get double the merits.

One of the things that can help you communicate with other toons in the Factory, if you are not secret friends with them, is a temporary chat phrase that helps you make decisions about whether to split up or not, where you are if someone gets lost, or where to meet if someone wants to go restock gags in the Paint or Lava rooms.
If this is one of your first ten runs through the factory, your prize will be a Sellbot suit piece. If you have your suit complete, you will gain merits.

You start with the suit Cold Caller level 1. Once you get the suit, you need to get 20 merits in order to fight the VP. Once you fight the VP and win, you get an SOS card and Promotion Papers. Once you get to the Mr. Hollywood 50 level, you get your Executive Washroom Key and can battle the VP anytime you want. At Mr. Hollywood 15, 20, 30, 40 and 50, you will also gain a laff point!

The final thing you need to think about when doing a factory run is if you are going to regag in the gag up areas, or do you just want to get through these rooms quickly. The first place to restock any gags is in the hallway after beating the cogs in the lobby. In this room you need to move a box so you can get on top of another box and hit the throw barrel.

The second place is after the Gear Room and that is called the Paint Room. This room is typically avoided because of the gags you can receive, but it can be worth the effort if you need more jellybeans or gags. In this room you will have to time jumps correctly onto four different moving gears to help you get into the Paint Room Storage Room. In this room is one barrel to restock jellybeans, feathers, lipstick, hoses and creme pies.

If you decide not to get gags and jellybeans in the Paint Room, you can wait until after you get through Stomper Alley. Right next to the exit of the Side Entrance is yet another box to push that will let you jump up to restock feathers and to hit a barrel that gives you 5 laff points.
After Stomper Alley, I told you earlier that you could either first go into the Lava Room or go on to the Oil Room to fight the cogs. If you choose to go into the Lava Room, you can restock jellybeans (2 barrels), hoses, elephant trunks, and hit a barrel that will give you 10 laff points.

Just remember that when running the factory the first few times, try and go with a group of toon friends because other toons may try and shuffle you out. Once you get to a laff that other toons deem acceptable, you will be able to do factory runs with randoms and even possibly do a solo factory run if you use your gags correctly.
